Nigerian businesses can now apply for a $150 million expansion loan under a new offshore financing facility from the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA). The association Announces on Sunday 2nd, 2026 that eligible companies can now submit application through a digital portal unveiled at the Nigeria Infrastructure Conference (INFRACON 2026) in Abuja recently .

The NACCIMA $150m expansion loan was developed in partnership with Germany’s ODDO BHF SE, a Frankfurt-based commercial banking group, to give qualified Nigerian enterprises access to patient, long-term capital at single-digit interest rates. Dr Waheed Olagunju, chairman of the Joint NACCIMA-ODDO BHF Working Group Committee and former Bank of Industry managing director, presented the framework alongside NACCIMA’s Digital Economy Coordinator, Dr Segun Olugbile.

Funding targets manufacturing outside defence, agro-allied processing, energy, logistics, mineral beneficiation, transportation and ICT, with 20 percent of the facility reserved for the digital economy sector. Successful applicants can access a minimum of $10 million, repayable over at least seven and a half years, provided they commit 35 to 50 percent of funds to procuring European machinery, equipment and services.

Olagunju described the initiative as a transparent, globally aligned investment pipeline demonstrating investor confidence in Nigeria’s economy. He said the bank-grade encrypted e-portal automates Know Your Customer verification and safeguards applicants’ financial data throughout the process.

To qualify for the NACCIMA $150m expansion loan, companies must submit at least three years of audited financial statements, demonstrate ESG compliance, and hold verified membership with recognised private sector bodies including NACCIMA, the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, NASME and NASSI.

NACCIMA describes the portal as a major step toward digitising foreign direct investment origination for Nigeria’s private sector, positioning the NACCIMA $150m expansion loan as a template for future cross-border financing partnerships.

NACCIMA says the programme should strengthen private sector competitiveness, support industrial expansion, and contribute to sustainable economic transformation nationwide.
