Vercel has added Ling 3.0 Tiny from ANT Group to its AI Gateway. The model is currently free to use until 8:00am PT on August 14, 2026, taking over the free slot from Ling 3.0 Flash.

Ling 3.0 Tiny is a Mixture-of-Experts (MOE) model with 7.9B total parameters. However, only about 1.3B of those parameters stay active per token. That design keeps inference fast while holding costs low, a practical win for developers building at scale.

The model supports a 256K token context window and can produce up to 32K output tokens per request. It is built specifically for responsive agents, instruction following, and multi-turn conversations. Additionally, it ships with native function calling and prompt caching out of the box.

To get started, developers simply set the model to inclusionai/ling-3.0-tiny-free inside the AI SDK. After August 14, the model name switches to inclusionai/ling-3.0-tiny. Vercel also allows teams to test it directly in the model playground before committing it to production.

For those using coding agents, running vercel ai-gateway coding-agents setup and selecting the Ling 3.0 Tiny model gets the integration done in minutes.

Beyond this model launch, Vercel’s AI Gateway continues to offer a unified API for calling models, tracking usage and cost, and managing retries, failover, and performance optimizations. It also includes custom reporting, Zero Data Retention support, API key budgets, and routing rules. Notably, the platform reflects provider pricing with no markup and charges no platform fee on inference, including on Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) requests.

Ling 3.0 Tiny is worth exploring now while the free window is open.
