Apple to Launch Camera AirPods, Foldable iPhones in 2027

Apple is preparing a new wave of hardware products for 2027. The lineup includes Camera AirPods and a second-generation foldable iPhone. Apple is already testing the products. Moreover, the devices support Apple’s broader AI strategy. The company is also developing a special iPhone for the iPhone’s twentieth anniversary.
The upcoming AirPods will feature built-in cameras. However, they will not take photos. Instead, the cameras will give Siri visual context. As a result, Siri could improve navigation and object recognition. Apple views the device as its first AI-focused wearable. However, reports suggest the launch timeline could change.
It plans to release Camera AirPods in late 2027. The company will launch them alongside an upgraded foldable iPhone. Bloomberg said Apple is testing the products with iOS 28. In addition, the company is developing advanced chips for future devices. The foldable model will follow Apple’s first foldable iPhone. Furthermore, Apple hopes the devices will strengthen its position in AI hardware.
Apple has stepped up its AI efforts in recent years. In addition, the company is developing smart glasses. These projects aim to expand Apple’s ecosystem. Meanwhile, rival companies are investing heavily in AI devices. Apple has not officially announced the products. Still, more details could emerge closer to launch.
