Cardone Capital Snaps Up 282 BTC Worth $18M on Crypto Dip

Cardone Capital, the $5.3 trillion real estate investment firm led by entrepreneur Grant Cardone, has added 282 Bitcoin to its treasury, valued at roughly $18 million as Bitcoin trades near the $63,000 level following a broader crypto market decline linked to tensions surrounding the Israel-Lebanon conflict.
Real estate giant doubles down on Bitcoin as market bleeds
Cardone announced the Cardone Capital Bitcoin purchase via a June 19 post on X, simply writing: “CardoneCapital adding 282 BTC.” The move signals continued conviction from one of real estate’s most prominent voices, even as retail sentiment wavers under geopolitical pressure.
The latest purchase follows a prior acquisition made during a recent market downturn, when Cardone Capital bought 130 BTC valued at approximately $9.7 million. That deal, too, was framed as a deliberate dip-buying play consistent with the firm’s broader accumulation posture.
The Cardone Capital Bitcoin purchase strategy fuses Bitcoin with income-producing real estate properties into a hybrid investment vehicle, aiming for significant returns. Earlier this year, the firm disclosed that it had accumulated about 1,000 BTC after purchasing $10 million worth of Bitcoin in January.
Cardone Capital launched the 10X Miami River Bitcoin Fund in May 2025, pairing a 346-unit apartment complex on the Miami River with $15 million in Bitcoin, while directing a portion of rental income toward additional Bitcoin purchases.
The firm’s approach is notable because it ties Bitcoin exposure directly to real estate potentially offering a more palatable entry point for traditional investors wary of pure crypto volatility. A significant portion of investors in their fund are new to Bitcoin, yet the founder remains bullish on the combined potential of both asset classes.
The move underscores a broader shift in the private equity space, where firms are increasingly using Bitcoin as both a treasury asset and a strategic component of fund offerings. With this Cardone Capital Bitcoin purchase, the firm cements its position among the most aggressive institutional accumulators of 2026.
