AppsFlyer, a San Francisco-based marketing analytics platform, has closed a Series E round worth more than $1 billion at a post-money valuation of $2.7 billion, according to sources cited by Axios. The deal brings the company’s total known funding to $1.3 billion since its founding in 2011.

AppsFlyer $1B Series E funding confirms the Israeli-American ad measurement company as one of the most consequential infrastructure players in digital advertising today.

Big Names, Strategic Stakes

Google, Meta, Moloco, and Unity each acquired minority stakes in the company, confirmed by CEO and co-founder Oren Kaniel. The choice of investors is striking all four are active players in mobile advertising, yet they’re backing a company that acts as an independent referee measuring ad performance across competing platforms. That’s a signal of how much trust the industry places in AppsFlyer’s neutrality. Previous backers include General Atlantic, Goldman Sachs, and Salesforce Ventures.

AppsFlyer helps businesses track which digital ads drive mobile app installs and in-app purchases, while also protecting user privacy and detecting ad fraud. In an era where AI is increasingly deciding how advertising gets bought and optimised, accurate attribution data has become the backbone of ad spend decisions worldwide.

Kaniel described the AppsFlyer $1B Series E funding as “a step on that path” to going public, signalling that an IPO could be on the horizon. The company’s previous funding round was in 2020, making this raise a significant return to the market after a six-year gap.

Globally, sales and marketing startups have attracted around $4.1 billion in venture funding so far in 2026, per Crunchbase data with AI-native tools leading the charge.
