RedotPay Launches B2B Payment Gateway, Promises Up to 70% Reduction in Merchant Fees

Global stablecoin platform RedotPay has launched its first enterprise product, and it’s aimed squarely at one of merchants’ biggest pain points: payment processing costs. Unveiled at Money20/20 Europe in Amsterdam, the new RedotPay crypto payment gateway, branded RedotPay Connect, lets businesses accept digital currency payments while cutting fees by as much as 70% compared to traditional card processors.

The company, which already serves over 7 million retail users across 100 countries, is now turning its attention to commercial merchants. The goal is to connect the booming $2 trillion digital asset economy with everyday corporate commerce, something legacy banking rails have struggled to do efficiently.

What makes this RedotPay crypto payment gateway different from earlier crypto payment attempts is how it handles risk. Two things have historically scared businesses away from accepting digital currency: price swings and clunky integration. RedotPay Connect tackles both by accepting stablecoins directly from popular wallets like MetaMask and Coinbase Wallet, then instantly converting and settling those funds into fiat currencies such as USD, EUR, and GBP. Merchants never actually hold volatile crypto balances; they just see fiat hit their accounts, minus a much smaller cut than card networks typically take.

That fee reduction is the headline number, but the broader play is access. RedotPay says the gateway opens the door for merchants to reach a pool of more than 700 million crypto-native consumers worldwide, a demographic that skews younger and increasingly expects digital-first payment options.

Jonathan Chan, RedotPay’s co-founder and head of partnerships, framed the launch as solving a long-standing tension in the industry, arguing merchants have been forced to choose between steep processing fees and crypto’s unpredictability. He described RedotPay Connect as built to let businesses tap that global crypto user base while keeping costs down and running on real-time payment infrastructure.

There’s also a forward-looking piece to the launch. Alongside the gateway, RedotPay is rolling out something called the RedotPay Skill this June, a tool that lets consumers link their personal AI assistants directly to RedotPay’s payment rails. The idea is to prepare merchants for “agentic commerce,” where AI agents handle purchasing decisions and checkout on a person’s behalf, no card required. It’s a bet on where digital spending is headed rather than where it is today, but it signals RedotPay wants Connect to be more than just a cheaper card alternative.

For merchants tired of slim margins under traditional processing networks, RedotPay’s pitch is straightforward: lower fees, no volatility exposure, and an early foothold in both crypto-native and AI-driven shopping trends.
