Berry Street Healthify merger news broke on Monday, combining two nutrition-focused startups. The US company Berry Street and India’s Khosla Ventures-backed Healthify plan to grow together. Both firms aim to capitalize on rising demand for GLP-1 weight-loss treatments.
Noah Kotlove, Berry Street’s founder, and Tushar Vashisht, Healthify’s founder, will co-lead the entity. In the United States, the combined business will operate under the Berry Street name. Elsewhere, including India, it will run under the established Healthify brand. Healthify has raised over $150 million and built AI-powered nutrition coaching tools. The company also offers human dietitian support through its mobile app.
Last year, Healthify expanded into the US and added GLP-1 programs in India. So far, the startup claims to have served more than 45 million customers worldwide. Berry Street, meanwhile, runs a network exceeding 2,000 clinics across the country. It also provides insurance-covered GLP-1 care alongside AI-driven meal tracking tools. The company previously raised $50 million from Northzone, Sofina, and FJ Labs.
Consequently, this Berry Street Healthify merger creates a larger cross-border nutrition platform. Vashisht said Healthify’s mission has long been to put a dietitian in every pocket. He added that Berry Street brings the clinical backbone needed for US-scale delivery. Khosla Ventures founder Vinod Khosla praised the deal in a public statement. He said the pairing will redefine metabolic care through combined AI and clinical expertise.
