Tucson Federal Credit Union Teams Up With InvestiFi for Digital Investing Services

Tucson Federal Credit Union (TFCU) has taken a significant step into the future of community banking by partnering with InvestiFi, an award-winning provider of embedded digital investing solutions for financial institutions. The Arizona-based credit union will integrate InvestiFi’s InvestTech platform directly into its existing online banking environment, enabling members to trade stocks and invest in cryptocurrency without ever leaving their familiar banking interface.
The move signals a broader shift happening across community financial institutions, one where the line between banking and investing is quietly disappearing. Through this partnership, TFCU’s more than 52,000 members, spread across eight locations in Pima County, will be able to access embedded digital investing solutions as naturally as they would check a balance or transfer funds.
Robert Maturo, Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management at TFCU, described the partnership as a forward-looking move anchored in the credit union’s member-first philosophy. Pairing modern technology with financial education and support, he said, is central to their goal of helping members make confident financial decisions. Maturo added that the integration is also a strategic play, designed to deepen member engagement and keep more assets within the credit union’s own ecosystem.
Members will have access to InvestiFi’s Guided Investing tool, which builds portfolios tailored to individual financial goals, as well as self-directed options covering stocks, ETFs, and digital assets. An extensive financial education library will accompany the offering, a detail that reflects TFCU’s longstanding focus on member empowerment and inclusion. The credit union, which holds assets surpassing $925 million, serves communities across Tucson, Oro Valley, Sahuarita, and the Greater Vail Area.
Kian Sarreshteh, CEO of InvestiFi, said community financial institutions are in a unique position to expand how they serve their members, and embedding investing directly into the digital banking experience is exactly how that happens. He pointed to the partnership as an example of how credit unions can unlock new value from within their existing platforms, creating more connected and intuitive member experiences.
For credit unions watching from the sidelines, TFCU’s move with InvestiFi may well mark the beginning of a wider reckoning with what members now expect from their everyday banking tools. Embedded digital investing solutions are no longer a novelty, they are fast becoming a baseline expectation.
