Data + AI Summit 2026 Training: AI Agents, Vibe Coding, and More Are Coming

Databricks is pulling out the stops for its Data + AI Summit 2026. The event runs June 14 to 18 in San Francisco. The company has completely revamped its training catalog. For professionals racing to keep up with fast-moving AI developments, the timing could not be better.

Databricks Training and Certification returns with over 20 hands-on courses. Industry experts lead every session. The focus lands on AI agents, vibe coding, data engineering, and application development on the Databricks platform. Training kicks off on Sunday and Monday as training-exclusive days. That gives attendees dedicated learning time before the main conference keynotes begin.

One of the most talked-about new courses is Vibe Coding on Databricks. Participants explore AI-driven development using tools like Genie Code, Claude Code, and Cursor. They configure MCP servers and apply structured prompting. Then they deploy a full application using their own agent tools. It is hands-on from start to finish.

Another standout is Deploying and Monitoring Agents on Databricks. This course teaches professionals how to build and deploy production-ready AI agents. It uses MLflow’s ResponsesAgent framework. It also covers observability practices, using MLflow tracing to capture metrics, analyze responses, and flag anomalies in live systems.

The catalog also includes Build Data Pipelines with Lakeflow Spark Declarative Pipelines. That course covers incremental batch and streaming ingestion. Additionally, Developing BI Dashboards with AI/BI helps teams democratize business intelligence. It uses AI/BI Dashboards and Genie Spaces to support self-service analytics.

Databricks is also introducing a brand-new certification at the Data + AI Summit 2026 training, Context Engineering (Beta). This exam targets AI engineers and data professionals. Specifically, it validates skills in designing, governing, and evaluating context systems for production-ready agentic AI on Databricks. It joins a full slate of returning certifications, including Data Engineer Associate and Professional, Generative AI Associate, and Machine Learning Associate and Professional. On-site exams cost just $100, a 50% discount on the regular price. Those who pass receive a customized Databricks Certified jacket and access to the exclusive Certified Lounge.

The Learning Hub is also expanding this year. It features immersive hands-on labs built on the Databricks Free Edition. One highlight is a “Data Detectives” game where attendees solve data mysteries using Genie. Skills assessment tools also connect attendees with Databricks learning experts. These experts help identify knowledge gaps and generate personalised learning plans. A Community Hub on-site lets attendees connect with peers and continue learning beyond the event.

The 50% early-bird discount on all Data + AI Summit 2026 training applies to registrations before April 30. That window is closing fast.
