They also aim to improve access to affordable smart devices, helping more individuals and businesses participate in Ethiopia’s growing digital economy.

Meanwhile, both companies pledged to work together on digital literacy, rural connectivity, community empowerment, and sustainable technology infrastructure. They will also increase collaboration on customer education and marketing to encourage wider adoption of services such as Telebirr and enterprise digital platforms.
