Nectar Social funding of $30 million signals growing investor appetite for AI-native marketing infrastructure. Recently, Nectar Social announced a $30 million Series A led by Menlo Ventures and Anthology Fund. Additionally, True Ventures, GV, and Gwyneth Paltrow’s Kinship Ventures participated in the funding round. On the same day, the company also launched its autonomous Nectar Agent.
At the centre of Nectar Social sits a platform extending far beyond standard marketing tools. Specifically, Nectar Social describes itself as an agentic operating system for marketers. The platform uses autonomous AI agents to manage social activity, moderation, creator workflows, and commerce conversations. Furthermore, Nectar Social maintains data partnerships with Meta and Reddit. Consequently, its AI agent consolidates data from multiple platforms into one interface.
Meanwhile, the founding team behind the Nectar Social funding story also stands out. Nectar founders Misbah and Farah Uraizee launched the company in 2023. Previously, the sisters built formative careers inside major social internet platforms. At Meta, Farah scaled Facebook Groups to more than one billion users. Together, the co-founders bring deep platform expertise to the evolving AI marketing industry.
Meanwhile, Menlo Ventures directly explained the reasoning behind its investment decision. “We invested in Nectar Social because customers genuinely love the product,” said Amy Wu Martin of Menlo Ventures. Additionally, Martin joined Nectar’s board following the funding round. “They’re saving brands money and time while opening new social commerce revenue channels,” Martin added.
Finally, Nectar’s traction scale helps explain strong enthusiasm surrounding the Nectar Social funding round. Currently, Nectar Social powers more than 10 million conversations every week. Moreover, the platform attributed over $100 million in revenue to social interactions. Clients include e.l.f. Beauty, Figma, Babylist, Liquid Death, and Graza.
