Nigeria Fintech Forum 2026 to Gather More Than 1,700 Fintech Stakeholders

The Nigeria Fintech Forum 2026 is making its grand return for a fifth consecutive year, and this time, organizers expect to pack the room with more than 1,700 of the sharpest minds in Nigeria’s financial technology space.

Eventhive, Africa’s leading B2B2C event servicing company, announced that the forum will take place on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at the Civic Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos. The event will pull together regulators, bank executives, fintech founders, infrastructure providers, investors, and policymakers under one roof to chart the next phase of financial innovation in the country.

This year’s theme, “Finance, Regulation, and the New Operating Reality,” couldn’t be more timely. Nigeria’s fintech sector is in the middle of a major shake-up, marked by tighter regulatory oversight, rising compliance demands, a wave of fintech acquisitions of microfinance banking licences, and growing pressure for resilient digital infrastructure. The Nigeria Fintech Forum 2026 arrives precisely when these conversations matter most.

As part of the larger Africa Tech Series, which runs across Lagos, Nairobi, Kigali, Johannesburg, and London, the forum has built a reputation as a serious meeting ground for banking, payments, e-commerce, telecoms, and digital economy stakeholders. This edition will feature dedicated expo zones covering payments infrastructure, digital banking, lending and credit, fraud and cybersecurity, embedded finance, wealthtech, agent banking, AI-powered financial services, and more.

Beyond the main conference floor, a Regulatory Roundtable Session will bring regulators face-to-face with compliance leaders, fintech executives, and policy experts to dig into licensing, supervision, digital assets, and risk management.

Speaking on the upcoming edition, Eventhive CEO Jamiu Ijaodola noted that Nigeria’s fintech industry has moved past the point where scale alone defines success, adding that this year’s forum aims to push honest conversations between regulators, operators, and investors about where the industry is truly headed.

Confirmed sponsors for the event include Monica, Open Access Data Centres, Equinix, Busha, Layer3, London Stock Exchange, Parkpay, Payaza, and Belema Fintech, a lineup that signals just how seriously the industry is taking this gathering.

With more than 1,700 attendees expected from Nigeria and beyond, the Nigeria Fintech Forum 2026 is shaping up to be one of the country’s biggest platforms for deal-making, partnerships, and policy dialogue this year.
