Camion, founded in 2023, provides an AI-powered platform aimed at accelerating the deployment of electrification infrastructure. Its technology forecasts energy demand and integrates tariff and grid data. It also identifies where owners should deploy solar, storage, and EV charging for the best returns.
Deepki frames the acquisition as a response to a massive opportunity ahead. The transaction comes amid a $7 trillion electrification investment opportunity across global real estate markets. By combining its own data with Camion’s agentic AI, Deepki hopes to help owners spot the highest-value energy investments. Furthermore, the company estimates that pairing the technologies could lift site Net Operating Income by 40%. It could also let owners underwrite new energy assets 90% faster through automated feasibility models.
Founded in 2014, Deepki already helps real estate players track energy, water, and waste data across their portfolios. This acquisition marks the company’s fourth deal so far, following its purchase of Sobre Energie earlier this year. Camion Energy’s CEO, Jacob Monroe, said the partnership pairs his platform with Deepki’s data layer covering over 500,000 assets. Meanwhile, Deepki’s own CEO called the deal a milestone for protecting client portfolio value.
