Jensen Huang Just Uncovered a Brand New $200 Billion Market for Nvidia

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has never been shy about bold predictions and his latest may be his biggest yet. During the company’s first-quarter earnings call on Wednesday, Huang announced that Nvidia’s new Vera CPU has opened up a ‘Nvidia Vera CPU $200 billion agentic AI market’ the company has never touched before.

“The world’s first CPU purpose-built for agentic AI,” Huang called it, signalling a strategic move beyond GPUs into territory long dominated by Intel and AMD. The announcement came alongside a record-breaking quarter with $81.6 billion in revenue, with $91 billion projected for the next quarter.

Huang explained that Vera will be deployed in multiple configurations as a standalone unit, alongside Rubin GPUs, and integrated with ConnectX-9 networking for storage, security, and confidential computing workloads. Every major hyperscaler and system maker is reportedly already partnering with Nvidia to roll it out.

Huang expects Vera chip revenue alone to hit $20 billion by the end of this fiscal year, a figure that has Wall Street paying close attention. Analysts at Deutsche Bank raised their price target on Nvidia shares to $255, citing clear line-of-sight to $20 billion in CPU revenue in FY27.

Huang explained that while the “thinking” part of an AI model runs on GPUs, agents mostly operate on CPUs making the Nvidia Vera CPU $200 billion agentic AI market a logical and complementary expansion for Nvidia rather than a distraction.

This new $200 billion opportunity sits entirely outside the $1 trillion Nvidia has already forecast from its Blackwell and Rubin GPU lineup between 2025 and 2027, making it an additive growth runway, not a pivot.

The world is rebuilding its computing infrastructure for AI agents. And Nvidia, it seems, intends to be at the center of every layer of that rebuild.
