AI software company Lovable has raised $400 million in a new funding round, pushing its valuation to $13.3 billion.
The Swedish startup announced the funding on Wednesday, August 12, with the round led by Menlo Ventures and EQT’s Scaleup Europe Fund. The new investment more than doubles Lovable’s previous $6.6 billion valuation, which it reached after its December 2025 funding round.
Lovable is part of the growing “vibe coding†movement, where people can use natural-language prompts to create websites and software without needing to write traditional code themselves.
The company has grown rapidly since launching in 2024. According to reports, Lovable’s annual recurring revenue reached about $400 million, while more than 60 million projects created on its platform.
Lovable says the fresh funding will help it develop its platform further and build a broader business software platform.
The latest round highlights the strong investor interest in AI-powered software development and shows how quickly companies in the space are gaining value.
For Lovable, the challenge now is turning its rapid growth into a lasting platform as competition in AI coding continues to increase.
