Beltone and Telda Partner to Unlock Digital Investing Access in Egypt

Beltone Asset Management, a subsidiary of Beltone Holding, has announced a strategic partnership with Egyptian fintech platform Telda to give users seamless access to mutual funds and investment products through a fully digital experience marking a significant push for financial inclusion in Egypt’s rapidly evolving investment landscape.

Bringing Institutional Investment to Everyday Egyptians

Under the Beltone Telda digital investing arrangement, Telda users can now invest in funds managed by Beltone Asset Management directly through Telda’s app, with zero commission fees excluding precious metals funds. Redeemed proceeds can be transferred directly to a user’s Telda card, removing friction from the end-to-end experience. The partnership targets digitally engaged Egyptians who have historically been underserved by traditional investment infrastructure.

The funds available through the integration span a diverse range, including the flagship “Meya Meya” fund, the “Sabayek” gold investment fund, “B-Secure” for high-liquidity needs, “Wafra EGX 33” a Shariah-compliant equity fund and several sector-focused investment vehicles. Users can open an investment account in minutes using only a national ID, eliminating paperwork and the need for branch visits entirely.

Khalil El Bawab, CEO of Local & Regional Markets at Beltone Holding, said the collaboration reflects the firm’s commitment to making investment solutions accessible to a wider audience in an increasingly digital environment. Ahmed Sabbah, CEO of Telda, described the deal as an important step toward delivering a more integrated financial experience by uniting everyday banking and investment within a single platform.

The partnership aligns with Beltone Asset Management’s broader strategy to diversify distribution channels and strengthen its footprint in the Egyptian market as digital financial services continue to accelerate across the region.
