Manus will soon return to operating as an independent company. The transition will affect some users and their stored data. Manus says it will delete certain data generated or updated from December 29, 2025, during the transition. Affected users must back up their data before 7:59 a.m. SGT on August 23, 2026.
Manus will carry out the deletion from August 23 to August 25. Affected users will temporarily lose access during this period. The company will notify affected users through email and in-app messages. Users who signed up with Apple or Facebook should check their Manus notifications because Manus may not have their email addresses.
Affected users can use Manus’s backup tool before the deadline to save their account and task data. Users who create new tasks after an earlier backup should run the tool again to save the latest data. Manus will open the restoration portal on August 25, allowing users to restore their saved data and continue using the service. Users who are not affected can continue using Manus normally without taking any action.
