Marqly AI bookmark manager just dropped its most powerful version yet. Marqly 5.0 launched today on Product Hunt, the app’s sixth major release since its debut in 2022, when it won the #1 Product of the Day badge on launch day.
The problem Marqly addresses is one most internet users know well. Saving a link is easy. Finding it again months later is not. As maker Kim explained directly at launch, the biggest challenge was never saving information, it was always rediscovering it. Most bookmark tools still rely on manual folders and tags, requiring ongoing effort that most users simply abandon.
Marqly 5.0 takes a fundamentally different approach. The system uses AI to read every link a user saves and automatically applies intelligent tags, categories, and summaries, with zero manual input required. Furthermore, instead of typing exact keywords to retrieve something, users can simply describe what they are looking for in plain language. Semantic search then finds the right result, even when the exact words do not match.
This version is not a minor update. According to the team, version 5.0 involved rebuilding large parts of the product over the past year. Improvements cover AI-powered organisation, content understanding, improved browser extensions, offline support, and a significantly faster search experience. Additionally, a Link Health Monitor actively checks whether saved URLs still work, keeping libraries clean over time. A built-in Reader Mode enables distraction-free reading of saved articles directly inside the app.
Cross-platform sync ensures bookmarks saved on one device appear instantly on all others. Tab Saver, meanwhile, collapses all open browser tabs into organised bookmarks with a single click, reducing memory usage by up to 95%.
Marqly’s maker shared the full story behind version 5.0 on the Product Hunt launch page, where the team actively invites user feedback. You can also explore all features and free plans at the official Marqly website.
