NVIDIA Sweeps COMPUTEX 2026 Best Choice Awards Across AI, Robotics and Autonomous Vehicles

NVIDIA has taken home multiple honours at the COMPUTEX 2026 Best Choice Awards, with three of its most advanced platforms recognised across four categories at Asia’s most prominent technology and computing trade exhibition.
The NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 rack-scale AI supercomputer claimed both the Golden Award and the Sustainable Tech Special Award, while the NVIDIA Jetson Thor platform for edge AI and robotics took home a Golden Award. The NVIDIA Alpamayo open platform for autonomous vehicle development won the Vehicle Technology and Smart Cockpit Category Award. The NVIDIA COMPUTEX 2026 Best Choice Awards sweep positions the company as a clear frontrunner across some of the most competitive segments in enterprise and physical AI.
The Vera Rubin NVL72 connects 36 NVIDIA Vera CPUs and 72 NVIDIA Rubin GPUs, delivering up to 10x higher inference performance per watt and 10x lower cost per token. Its recognition under the Sustainable Tech Special Award is particularly notable, given growing industry scrutiny around the energy demands of large-scale AI infrastructure. The system’s 100% liquid-cooled architecture operates at 45 degrees Celsius, and its modular tray design cuts assembly time from two hours to just five minutes per compute tray.
On the robotics side, Jetson Thor delivers up to 2,070 FP4 teraflops of AI performance, representing 7.5x the compute and 3.5x the energy efficiency of the previous Jetson Orin generation, in a compact module configurable between 40 and 130 watts. It is already deployed in production across hundreds of applications, including smart robots, industrial systems and medical devices.
The Alpamayo platform, which won in the autonomous vehicle category, is designed to help developers handle rare, complex driving scenarios, such as interpreting ambiguous hand signals from pedestrians or safely navigating emergency vehicles parked partially in a lane, situations that typically fall outside standard training data. The platform includes Alpamayo 1.5 and Alpamayo 1, chain-of-thought reasoning vision language action models for AV research, AlpaSim, an open-source end-to-end simulation framework, and the NVIDIA Physical AI Open Datasets containing over 1,700 hours of driving data across different geographies and conditions.
The NVIDIA COMPUTEX 2026 Best Choice Awards wins come as Jensen Huang, NVIDIA’s founder and CEO, is scheduled to deliver a keynote at COMPUTEX on June 1 at 11 a.m. Taiwan time, with GTC Taipei running June 1 to 4.
