Radisson Hotel Group and Accenture have launched a new AI-powered hotel discovery app inside ChatGPT, and it could change how travelers find and book hotels. Available as @RadissonHotels in ChatGPT, the app lets users search more than 1,000 Radisson properties across 100 countries through simple, natural conversation.

Instead of jumping between travel sites, a traveler can open ChatGPT, type @RadissonHotels, and ask for a family-friendly hotel in Amsterdam or a Paris property near the Eiffel Tower with a gym and spa. The app responds with live rates, real-time inventory, location context, amenities, and interactive map results. When a traveler is ready to confirm, the app routes them directly to the Radisson Hotels website to complete the booking.

This Radisson Hotels AI booking on ChatGPT is not just a product feature. It marks a strategic shift toward what Accenture calls agentic commerce, a model where AI leads the entire journey from discovery to decision, replacing the traditional channel-by-channel booking process.

The numbers back this shift. According to Accenture’s Consumer Pulse Research, 87% of travelers are open to using an AI-powered travel agent to find the best option. Moreover, 71% say AI will influence at least half of their hotel and airline spending over the next 12 months. Radisson Hotel Group is already seeing organic and direct web traffic give way to new AI-driven touchpoints like ChatGPT.

Behind the scenes, the collaboration started with Accenture’s AI Merchant Center, an agentic readiness platform that uses an MCP accelerator to structure, validate, and optimise how Radisson’s content, inventory, rates, and booking signals appear to AI systems. Accenture then shaped the full app experience, from how travelers interact with it to how it performs across devices. The app connects directly to Radisson’s existing systems, so all hotel data is real-time.

“AI is radically transforming how people search for and book hotel stays, and we are committed to being at the forefront of this shift,” said Gianni Di Fede, Chief Commercial Officer at Radisson Hotel Group. Both companies plan to expand the app over time to include deeper personalisation, loyalty recognition, in-chat booking, reservation management, trip modification, and AI concierge features.

This work also builds on Accenture and OpenAI’s broader enterprise partnership, which targets practical, decision-driven AI adoption across industries. Accenture is an OpenAI Elite Partner and was recently named OpenAI’s AI Transformation Partner of the Year.

For African travelers and hospitality brands, this development is worth watching closely. As AI-led booking channels grow globally, hotels across Nigeria and the continent that fail to optimise their presence for AI discovery risk losing visibility at the very moment travelers decide where to stay.
